BLOG 7: ANIMATED DISNEY/PIXAR CHARACTER
My favorite character is Fa Mulán, she inspires me a lot when I watch the movie MULAN, because she took care of her father before anything, before any belief, breaking prejudices in society where only the man has to go to war and she is determined he takes the place of "son" and goes to war. The movie with Mushu and the cricket of luck is very funny, along with them the adventure would not have been the same. My favorite part is the process that Fa Mulan has when she becomes a warrior, manages to fish, learns to fight after having underestimated her as "the weakling". It is entertaining to see when she spent the whole night trying to scale the pole in the camp, and early in the morning Shang sees her upstairs succeeding.
BTW, Shang is perfect, I also watch the movie for him, he is my animated sugar. I look forward to the Mulan movie that will be in "real version", but Mushu won't appear :(, I don't know what to think of his disappearance in the new movie. Anyway, Shang, I'm waiting for you honey.
mulan is such a powerful character and a good representation of getting out the prejudice. i love her
